Once a Dallasite, Always a Dallasite
Aleysia spent some time away from Dallas during her freshman year of college in South Orange, New Jersey. She later earned an associate degree from Brookhaven College and went on to complete a Bachelor’s in Business Administration from Houston Baptist University, graduating in December 2023. These achievements highlight her discipline and dedication, qualities she carries into her pet sitting responsibilities.
While she enjoyed her time away from Dallas, Aleysia ultimately chose to return home to be closer to family. This decision further cemented her deep Dallas ties, balancing her love for exploration with a desire for homegrown connection. Since joining Park Cities Pet Sitter in October 2024, she has embraced the role with passion and enthusiasm, seamlessly integrating pet sitting into her life.
An Animal Lover From the Start
Aleysia’s love for animals began early, growing up around a variety of pets, including dogs, chickens, bunnies, and even goats. This lifelong exposure instilled in her a natural affinity and ease for animal care. Today, she shares her home with a dog named Thursday, a rescue pony named Remy, and some chickens, extending her family’s animal-loving spirit into her everyday life.

Part-Time Pet Sitter, Full-Time Pet Lover
What makes Aleysia’s role at Park Cities Pet Sitter especially meaningful is that it complements her full-time career and brings her joy without added stress. Offering services in the early mornings, evenings, and on weekends, she adapts to the needs of her clients, providing feeding, walking, companionship, and occasional overnight care. Her favorite part of the job is the special bonds she forms with each pet, recognizing the trust placed in her care. She has many furry fans!
Favorite Downtime Activities
Outside of work, Aleysia maintains a balanced lifestyle with two primary passions: running and reading. Running serves as her form of therapy, a way to clear her mind, release stress, and reconnect with herself. She approaches it without pressure, focusing instead on the joy of movement whether chasing personal goals or simply feeling free.
Reading offers her a contrasting kind of fulfillment, slowing down to reflect and explore new ideas. She also enjoys the unique experience of reading books before watching their movie adaptations, savoring the chance to imagine characters and scenes before seeing the director’s vision come to life. Both these activities provide clarity, calm, and joy to her daily routine.
Favorite Pet-Friendly Dallas Spots
When it comes to pet-friendly spots in Dallas, Aleysia’s favorite places to visit with her four-legged friends are White Rock Lake and Flag Pole Hill Park. White Rock Lake offers the perfect setting for long, scenic walks with dogs, full of natural beauty and fellow pet enthusiasts. Flag Pole Hill Park is her go-to for relaxed picnics and quality time outdoors.
